Just want to let everyone here know My Mix of my experience @ WMC is at My Site www.djpetedekan.com. Right now its 80MB in MP3 Format. I will put it in RA.
ALSO
WMC was Great but alot of things are Pissing Me OFF Lately.
1st Everywhere I Go says they dont want trance DJ's. "Its to Druggie, Trance isn't What we want right Now. I cant Find a ing place to spin at All, Any Ideas.
Also Give me some feedback, alot of people I talk to like my stuff, let me know.

Give me Some Feedback ABT, Also do you or anyone else on the board do road trips, Im heading up to Montreal to See Johan Spin on the 22nd, If I cant get quality trance here, its road trip time.
Also Where's Starfox, JayD, Pat, TwiloGoddess, PVD777, so on and so on
Alls I ask is to tale a listen while your messing around on your computer and give me some feedback, i dont care if u say its sux, I need to know , and if you can D/L The file Ill mail you a bunch of CD's

Anyways, I was talking to Stephanie and she said the guy who books DJs for Exit gave you an open invitation. I want to go to NY this summer anyways, so let's look into that. It'd be insane! | Ive been DJing for about 2yrs, 1yr was a waste Because I used Cd's and had a mixer with a BPM Coutner. Now I can pretty much throw and hr set together in two to three days. My biggest thing is when I finnally get a place to spin is To have a whole totally new set ready every week, most djs realie on the same every weekend, really pisses me off. But Still Haven't found a place to spin yet. Im trying so fU#$ing Hard, what a pain. But Glad you Liked It. Always need ALL the comments. |

i liked the mix.... track selection was great minus the DJ tatana track... .man that song sucks IMO! also, i didn't like how you structured the DJ Nitro track right after "Godd"..... it goes from high high energy into quietness and chill.... its like the peak of hte set was too early. that is being critical though, overall the mixing was great.
only thing i guess i can add (b/c you WANT constructive criticism), is to not mix in the next track so late... you should start bringing the next track when the pinnacle of the previous track is just finishing (like how the big Dutch DJ's do it)... instead you wait until the lead-out beat on the record (i.e. right before the song is over)...... your beat-matching is near perfect, but i think you lose some energy for your waiting so long to throw the next track in... the lead out/lead in period of the record is not really good to play.
otherwise, great summary of the WMC... although some of the remixes you chose to spin wouldn't have been my first choice.... (i.e. "can you dig it" - play original! thats the one that got played all the time at Ultra (by acosta and edgar v anyway) (svenson & gielen - twisted... play original! we know what you did - play orignal!) thats just personal preferences though.
did you use vinyls to make this mix or cd-rs or mp3's? if you use vinyls mind telling me where you got "can you dig it", marc dawn's "expander", and ferry's "punk" (not the crappy mix you can get at any record store).????
blah, anyways don't take my comments personally... i know you ;)
the mix was good.... good enough for me to burn it (if that tells you anything).... its just i know from personal experience you will get more out of comments if the listeners TELL you what they liked/didn't like instead of just saying "it was good"

Thanks for the Comments Definatley what I wanted to Hear. First As Far as the Tatanna Track and the mix after Godd. There is No way I would want to throw all High Epic Ngr trance one right after another, most dj's do these and tire the crowd, myu point is to adjust my epic style wityh a little more progressive to chill out the crowd so you can get them hyped again.
Second Yeah Im trying to mix them in sooner BUT most dj's in Clubs realie on the later mixes like mine becasue they are easier and more predictable. It is hard to know when to throw in a track at the middle/end of the others build up because your not sure if its gonna come back again and its to much to mix out of, Im trying on that.
The Mix of Can You dig I think is the original on the Vinyl, I always ????? it when I here it live, It may be a different mix, The Gielen tracks I Prefer The Gielen Remakes much more Energy. I get my vinyl from www.planetxusa.com Or Grooveman.
Keep Up the comments, I have another mix update soon BUT this is Harder what I call Exit (Manhattan Trance), because Im giving them demos this weekend.
