Ya, you know it... I'm a reality show junkie. I get my fix with this show in more ways than one.

cat Dolls Present : The Search For The Next Doll
A group of cat Doll wannabes go through pop star boot camp while living together in Los Angeles. The finalists face judges including rapper Lil' Kim (whom I personally saw up real close on the red carpet at the 2001 MTVMA in LA) while they compete to become the next cat Doll. The last doll left standing at the end of the eight-episode competition becomes the seventh member of the cat Dolls. She will sing and perform with the Dolls.
Cast:
The Judges: cat Dolls founder Robin Antin, Geffen Records chairman Ron Fair, rapper Lil' Kim.
The Role Model: cat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger
The Host: Singer Mark McGrath
The Stylist: Blowout star Jonathan Antin
The Choreographers: Robin Antin and Mikey Minden
The Contestants:
Anastacia : Makeup Artist, 23, from San Francisco, living in West Hollywood.
Brittany: Night club manager, 20, from Chesapeake, VA, living in Virginia Beach, Va.
Asia: Knick City Dancer, 18, from Mount Vernon, NY.
Chelsea: Waitress/Performer, 20, from Coopers City, Fla.
Jaime: Production Assistant, 21, from Philadelphia, living in New York .
Mariela: Dancer, 18, from Coconut Grove, Fla, living in Miami.
Melissa S: Performer, Age 24, Michigan and Toronto, CA. Living in Los Angeles.
Melissa R.: Performer, 18, from Cypress, CA.
Sisely : Performer, 25, from Long Beach, CA.

The main girl (Nicole) looks EXACTLY like a friend that I went to school with. Same body, same hair. She was a bitch. And now for some reason I can never watch their music videos without cringing.

We haven't heard enough of singing from them so far in the show, so please, I don't want to sound like I'm merely analizing these girls by their appearance only. |

| It's amazing to me that a group of 6 backup dancers and 1 vocalist is looking to add yet another backup dancing. soon they'll be like their own travelling show, like the kind they used to have back in Shakesperian times, except today it'll be the women playing the parts of men. |
