For the 17 years that I have lived in that area, I've never seen anything more sketchier than what I've encountered at that Coffee Time..
One of the most disturbing was last summer:
Me and my slats were coming down from St. Clair, after Portugal had won one of their games; there was a porkchop festival at Earl's Court Park. We decided to make a quick stop at the Coffee Time on Lansdowne and Dupont...I can't recall why. Anyway, we get in, grab some quick donuts for our adventure (we were sloshed at this time) and as we make our way outside, while we walk through the door, we see it. IT! What was it?....It was an older man....possibly in his mid 50's....wearing....NOTHING. He walked by us...with his ding dong out along with it's two little friends. We passed by him...not saying a word because we all thought that we were just seeing things, so we look at each other for confirmation, look back, see his bare ass (mind you, the clerk is actually serving him LOL) and laugh our asses off.

My friend and I pulled up to an intersection once and a crack whore on the corner yelled at us "I DO COUPLES!"
We knew she was a crack whore because her eyes were glazed over with euphoria like she had just hit the pipe. Plus there was dirt all over her face and knees, indicating her preferred method of payment for said crack. |

You know what the sad thing is?
When this person was born, her parents were probably very glad and happy to have her, full of promise and joy. |

What's even sadder are the girls that want to get off the streets but are so addicted to drugs and have no support to help motivate them to get help, that they end up dying on the street someday.
Sorry for the downer - just reminded me of that episode of Dr. Phil with the heroin addicted twins.
