Listened to the track on myspace and I have to say (imho) its pretty over rated, the arrangement doesn't seem to fit together particularly well and the guitar solo section sounded pretty bad, the changed chord progression doesn't sound as good as the original and there doesn't seem to be as much power to it.
I prefer the original |
john played it on his radio show last month & it sounds a lot better in full stereo. It's still limited compared to hearing muse live or the album, but it's about as tasteful as a 4/4 remix could be. |

They've done a good job with it, would love to hear this out on a big system, the part when everything stops then the vocal comes in sounds fantastic.
I prefer the original Muse version, but this remix is a very good effort |

I really like this one, heard it for the first time on GTG last month and if I'm remembering correctly, it isn't going to be released (read it on john's website if I'm not mistaken).
can't really compare it with the original from Muse cause I've never heard that one, maybe I'll check it out. They've made some great songs in the past :) |

| I got this track about a month ago. It's a huge dancefloor favorite. Wizzy Noise is phenomenal and J00F did a great remix of it. |

Agreed that it's tasteful, I just don't think the original needs a remix. For me what makes the track is the structure, and although the remix doesn't sound bad, the arrangement doesn't have nearly the same effect as the original does.
I think Supermassive Black Hole would suit a remix in this style though. |

I dunno. I'm not sure of how it'd go. And after seeing muse live, it totally hit the spot. There's potential in the melody of "take a bow" or possibly even Exo-Politics.
That said, I'm totally loving the guitar & drum first minute or so of assassin. It's so full of energy, nothing electronic could even come close there :D |

| Love the original and J00f and Wizzy Noise are both consistant preformers in my book, so looking forwards to a full release |

| as much as i like wizzy, having gone through a brilliant 2.5 years listening to them, I'm now looking for them to move their sounds on a bit, Different kickdrums, percussions or structures would really be fresher after sabotage pt2. I'm getting to the point where I can guess what's going to happen in places which I'm not keen on. |

I had a little wizzy abend yesterday and was thinking about the huge amount of tracks they produce and that they all are identical. :happy2: The way i see it, if you like me like their sound, it's a freakin goldmine. On one hand it could be interesting if they tried something new, but on the other i find it comforting to know that i get a banging wizzy style track every time, maybe they should walk a path right in between. |

| I definitely take that into consideration, what they've done is very good, but maybe just the odd tiny change could open things up a lot. Then again listening to their remix of even 11 - oblivion (the original of which is in my top 3 atm) they're still able to do it. I think it's about finding a balance and yeah it's a fine one, between being different & going bad |

The obivion remix sounds a little different, probably because it's a remix, but it also sounds VERY much like wizzy noise. Sick tune. They've utilized a less heavy basskick in it however, they do that sometimes. It gives the track a more smooth and flowing feel instead of a more BANG BANG BANG feel. ;) |
