Does this turntable compare favorably to the legendary Technics tables? From what I hear its pretty good but I thought I'd leave it to you more experienced folks to debate it.
Veldrid
Well this TT isnt actually out yet. Numark is boasting big things about it though. After much thought I decided I am going to purchase a pair, I figure if I hate em they will be easy to unload on ebay with all the hype they got atm. I havent used many 1200's cause I am just starting off DJing but I will post my reviews in about 2 weeks.

Well, the new Numark TT looks promosing with enhanced and interesting features.
I dont think it will question all the major companies such as Technics, but it will definitley will make them run back to the laboratories and computers to start working on something better.
Veldrid
Well I must say Technics is definatly gunna have to go back to the labs cause the TTX has almost twice as much sustained torque as the 1200's. As long as Numark has up'd themselves on quality and durability this deck should be pretty good. It has really kewl features like the key lock for pitch changes.
Mosaic
just wondering, what will one TTX go for?
Dj Thy
I've been told it would start at arouhnd 800 euros, but as with most new gear that price will drop quite fast.
Veldrid
So far most places are selling the TTX-1 for about $499, but I found them for $389 at www.123dj.com, they also have 1200's there for $399.
Dj Thy
That's a pretty good price if it delivers what they promise (list price is about $700).
