roos shut us down. rawlings didn't let hodge play. they were just too good, we were unusually tired.. even in the 3rd. we've been the guys with the legs in the 4th that brought us home but they just choked us up all nite. very well done boys.

what a mark in the 1st, and what a goal by wells. buddy's goal was sensational too

loved this season, awesome. can't wait for the next

No good? So what does that make Hawthorn? Clarkson & Co. need to stop reading their own hype because for a team with so much apparent talent they lack a fair amount of heart. For a team that's no good you could do a lot to learn from how North plays footy. Regardless of what happens next week North showed up Hawthorn last night for what they are. Back to the drawing board...

getting abit uppity there dean?
Fpcookie
lol how can anyone say north are no good? they have been one of the most consistent teams all year.
if only my side played with half the balls and the heart north play with we might have won a few more games

Not at all - i only speak the truth :)

imo from what i saw on saturday night and the season, north dont have the game or players to go all the way..

Hawthorn were outplayed so full credit to north however i dont feel they will give it a serious crack this year.

i'd probably have to agree with you Drew, but there's a big difference between that and being 'no good' ;)

so its official judd is coming home to victoria

what do you reckon the successful club will need to give west coast in order to get judd? west coast have said they would prefer draft picks to players.
Dean Millson
I reckon a couple of first round picks, but West Coast can't be too greedy because if it all falls through Richmond will snap him up with their priority pick and they'll get nothing. They've got the room in the Salary cap there's no question about that. I have a feeling thtat Carlton will probably get him, however it does pose an interesting question about whether a team in a rebuilding phase as Carlton is should sacrificing draft picks - then again, whoever gets Judd would probably want to lock him into a 5 year deal (unless that groin turns out to be dodgy) which might mean even if there is a little more short-term pain there could be some long term gain.

yeah carlton is in an interesting situation, they need matthew kruezer who will go no.1 in this years draft more than they need judd i think. they have gotten two no. 1 picks in the last two years and used them on midfielders but they are lacking a key position/ruckman.

carlton may try and trade pick 3 and fevola for judd though and to be honest i think west coast would accept that.

also judds groin will be an interesting one, i think clubs might have to wait and see what the surgeons report has to say.

Greg miller is chatting with Paul Connors tomorrow, it is rumoured that we are offering pick 2,18 + Mark Coughlan

willo, 06 leading goal kicking superstar wants to return home to perth. our forward line's pretty sure atm.. except maybe dicko who i reckon might be gone soon...

Is it 08 yet?

west coast have also said that they want draft picks not players, so unless Carlton Richmond or melb are willing to offer there 1st round picks West Coast will lose him to the PSD where Richmond has the first crack.
