do so. Very cool & definitely unique game. One of the few that's actually fun to watch someone play, as well. |

never seen the movie, nor do I have any idea what it's about. A couple of my roommates got it, though, and we wound up just collectively playing it for a few hours daily 'til we got through it. With the PS2 hooked up to the big tv & surround sound, there were always far too many people just sitting there watching.
For those who haven't played it, there are 12 (?) gigantic monsters you have to defeat. I won't post pictures of them, because that's half of why the game is great--just seeing those things for the first time is jaw-dropping for each and every one, as the graphics are so good and the scale of everything is so unlike anything else. You have to figure out how to defeat each of them, and the methods you need to use get increasingly harder to figure out and difficult to eventually pull off as you move along. There are no hints, no teams or anything--just you and a bunch of huge...things (well, you can also ride a horse to get around). You might figure out how to beat some in 5 minutes. For others, it might take a couple hours before you finally solve the puzzle and manage to perform the right actions. |

if you hold the sword up to the light at the right angle it shines on where to go or where to strike etc, so there is kinda a hint thing if you get stuck :) |

And yes, SotC is immense. One of my favourite games in recent years. I even did a remix of one of the themes for the Tranceaddict VGM Remix Project. It's on my site, so please check it out. Nobody else has bothered. :p |
