Clocks - Overdrive lead

Hi TA's,
This afternoon I have been trying to replicate the lead of clocks - overdrive for fun but i'm kinda stuck. Sounds pretty close allready I think, but it's just missing something. Anybody knows how to do it or has a preset for me to take a look at?
I think most of you know the track, but here is a sample just in case. This is what I made cause I don't have the track on my hard drive, but I hope it will give you an idea on what type of sound it is.

Way too much overdrive on that lead bro, it distorts badly!!!
Put a sample of the orig and I'll try to help out.
