I think the lesson here is not to leave any valuables visible in your car, not to not park in random areas. |

Exactly..everyone parks in random spots..but if people can visibly see a wallet or a purse lying in the open, they'll break into your car.
I always put all of my valuables in my trunk in a special compartment and I haven't had a problem yet. |

I know what you mean but i had not left my wallet on the seat visible it was in dashboard. The only thing prolly visible was the bag with my work clothes :( |

but you still left something.
If a someone wanted to rob a car and they saw a car w/ a random bag, and a car with nothing in it...they'll obviously rob the car with the random bag...
