never did like tiff lacey's songs. I'm not saying that she sucks but i have to completely gree with what Demoted said. Nothing better than a well dubbed track though. Like Ayu - M.

likewise :) although none of the mixes really cut it for me :(

the best one is the matias lethola remix but even that goes all wrong after the breakdown... none of them have that darker atmospheric feel that suits her voice so well

I agree that the Matias Lethola Mix is the best of the bunch. I love Kate's voice- easily the most emotive of all the trance vocalist regulars. Wish she showed up in more productions. How about a new Chakra tune?? (I know there are more new mixes of "I Am" coming, but that doesn't really count).

yeah she's definitely my favourite too.. although i'm kinda thankful she hasn't been as overexposed as some of the other names in this topic. tbh i'd prefer it if it stayed that way & she only cropped up once in a while alongside someone good..

New remixes from who? Is it the markus schulz coldharbour thing?

too true. i keep hearing the same female vocals over and over again dammit...

Hearing a recycled vocalist wouldn't be such a problem if they'd sing about a different topic every once in a while.

Yeah, Armada made a deal with the Space Bros. to release new mixes of many Space Bros. and Chakra tunes. The first of which was "Love Shines Through" last year. Markus has done a new mix of "I Am". Nothing can really top 2003's "Wrecked Angle Mix" in my opinion though. Of course I'd rather have some new tracks form Chakra/Space Bros. than new mixes of old songs! I guess there's the upcoming Lustral album- but even that has a bunch of reworks. And I'm pretty sure they re-recorded "Broken" with a different vocalist!!!!

The good old Space Brothers remix is the imo.

I'm getting tired of most of all those "popular" vocalists. They tend to take over the production and usually that results in an overall tune since the production work suddenly takes a back seat to the vocals. Then, in most cases, the lyrics are archetypal pap, and the vocals sound forced and sappy.

Meh.

On a sidenote, Jes Brieden is dead to me.

Pre mixed, Jes is pretty good. Live she sucks the big one...like for real.

No one's mentioned Andrea Britton. I think she's pretty damn good.
