no. Not 'til you get a ton of them. But chances are, your insurance company either already knows or is soon to find out.

I got a parking ticket for parking on a street that doiesn't exist. council writes tickets but refuses to do anythign to clear it up. tried writing a letter to state debt recovery office, explaining that the street doesn't exist so I clearly could not have partked there, they ignore it, meaning I either have to pay or take time off work to go to court.
sounds like some dodgy wheel clamp operation from an episode of the bill, but that's our legal system for you.

I think they should let people park almost where ever they want as long as it's not blocking a road or anything. Instead of some fat rich slob getting some special executive parking spot, it should be more of a first come first serve thing.

I don't think I want to get any kind of tickets. Hopefully I won't be doing anything stupid when I start to drive.

same story as the last 900 "traffic tickets thread"

i ran a stop sign at midnight after watching The Grudge.
Cop pulled me over. I don't know much about police stops, so he was in his car using his spotlight. I was like "ok" and i put my hands in the air.
He comes over, says i ran the stop sign. "sorry sir"
takes out his ticket book, then asks me "are you going to school son?" and i said "ya."
"good grades?"
"A's and B's"
**thinks** "you gotta be careful this late son. two people making a mistake at that sign woulda killed ya son."
"sorry sir."
"take care"
and he left me alone

that's what everyone says...and thinks. I was scared to death of getting in an accident when I first started. 6 months later, I made it from Chicago to St. Louis in 3:25 (mapquest tells me 5:03)

They are usually super slow in regards to contacting you about failing to appear like you should realistically expect something in the mail in a matter of months perhaps.

But they will automatically start increasing the cost of the ticket and by now they might already have a warrant out for your arrest.

Being late on a ticket is no joke! Especially in your case.
guster
you need to sort that out.

in louisiana you might've had a warrant already. and if you didn't pay, they'd send you a little notice in the mail to appear in court on a certain day for arraignment. miss that, charged with contempt of court and a bench warrant is served.. bench warrants are the ones they actively go about arresting your ass.

again, don't know how it works there.. but it's probably a good idea to see about paying/doing whatever else.
