| I have the iTrip and I like it. I live in Orange County, and I always have it on 88.7. If your radio has the ability to ger 87.7 or any other 87 FM Frequencies, you should consider getting a transmitter that supports those frequencies. Usually, those frequencies are always open, and you won't get any bad reception. |

I had the itrip, it sounded ok until I got an auxiliary input in the car deck.
Once you get the auxiliary you'll wonder why you used the itrip at all. |

i know well enough about them. let them be your last resort. first option is to use an auxilary input from your ipod to ur car. if you dont have it and you have a tape deck, then use the tape adapter from your ipod to ur casette player.
if you cant do any of these then ur screwed |

ya, if you have aux, make use of that.
i live in san diego and my car came with a ty AM/FM (and a ty 1.5 deck so that ). Every now and then, i get signals from radio talk shows. so it's "boom boom boom boom booom boom 'i can't believe she swallowed it all' boom boom booom"
they are few and far in between, but it's pretty gay.
The tricks of the trade:
take off your car antennae if you don't ever plan on using the radio for conventional radio purposes.
i don't know why but put some cat53 cable next to the transmitter and you drop a lot of the static.
put it on a low freq station, preferably underneath 89.9 section. |

i have a digital FM one for my company car.
a digital one has a digital readout that can be programed for any frequency. it can even save 4 presets if you get an interuption.
had it for a year now and works great. once i had it set to the right station it has never cut out. sound quality is not perfect, but it beats listing to the garbage on the radio.
i think it cost me $70. it holds my ipod on a flex arm while hooked into the lighter slot. never uses battery power and is back lit for night time. |

thanks guys!
i wanted one cause i think theyre cool, and definitely neater than using a cable/tape deck but im not gonna risk interference/sound quality hit/$$$ just for that.
and its unfortunate my 03 camry doesnt have an aux input :( |
