The movie was insane... although alot of it done through a green screen, the cinematography was amazing. The dramatic scenes were just as action packed as the action scenes themselves. The action scenes... well, lets just say rediculous! NOTHING was held back, limbs and heads, everything flying. They spared nothing. Just awesome.

probably one of the better movies of the last few years. It was kind of like 'traffic' (or crash) with 3 stories going on at once, and you see the interplay between the three stories near the end. Such a good movie, plus Jessica Alba was dancing on a pole, what more motivation is necessary!!!
Anyways, the cinematography in Sin City was sick. The movie was generally black and white with shade of colors highlighting certain things, like blood, lips, etc... Also, there were scenes where it began looking similar to a cartoon. |

Actually, the Hartigan/Nancy story was years before the others took place.
Sin City 2 is going to have the story about why Dwight got the new face and also I think a brand new story about Nancy after That Yellow Bastard.
Sin City is my favorite movie. :clown: |

| Also, Sin City and 300 were both graphic novels written by Frank Miller. And Frank Miller was involved with both films. Hence the same blue screen filming style. |

yes and no, actually it has to do with the studio the filmmaker worked with: Hybride.
These guys are insane with the quality of the final product.
Hybride were the ones who pushed forward the style behind 300.
