I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them, they dont annoy the head when worn over long period of times and the sound is amazing :)

i bought hd-25s from chemical records uk. Delivered to my door for $258. My old pioneer dj5000 seemed comfier, but the difference in sound quality and isolation is

May as well give the secret away to thefonz.....chemical records, trust me, you won't find anywhere cheaper than them (unless you've got a hook-up) :) My last pair was around $240 delivered.

And just for the record, Brewster B (melb. breaks dj) has had his pair now for 10 yrs, of course he looks after em, but goes to show they are actually quite durable.

I actually dont know anyone who owns HD25's that has ever had a problem.. (not to say noone ever has but just from all the dj's i kow that use em)

Plus if there is an issue u can by them part by part so u dont have to replace the whole thing. :)

i really cant knock em sound wise becos they e on everything, im just not a fan of having exposed wires bulging out from the ear pieces and all that... ive used 2 different pairs of HD25's and both have suffered from one channel cutting out... i think im the only person to have suffered two such coincidences, but it just pisses me off that my mates payed top dollar for them and they busted so easily....

i love how each component can be changed tho... very cool mod options available as well

oh and another thing, im not too sure if they have changed in design, but the ones ive used had straight wire design as apposed to coiled... very minor detail, but if u pull them hard enough accidently u can damage the cable or even pull the mixer forward... lol, a mate has an old DJM300, so they are very lightweight... ive seen this thing almost get yanked off a table because of the pulling from the headphones

when the pio's i have die in the ass il get a pair of hd25's from chemical... roughly same price as the technics n all them down here
