The palastinians need thier MLK Ghandi or who ever, to step up to the plate and say violence solves nothing. the people need to rise up and say with one voice that violence sloves nothing. if they did that the world would unite as one and changes can be made. Maybe changes that get rid of israel, cause that will never happen. Through violence or non-violence. But Purple does a have legitimate point. The same standards are certainly not applied if it's a third world country that can't defend itself, espeically when it's of strategic interest or possess valualble resources.

Being generations removed from the experience doesn't nullify the after affects of it, healing and recovering takes time. But I understand your point, on the particular issue of slavery that is. What reperations are being made to the Palestinians?
