Hey... I'm done another. I've found a favourite kick synth, from the jeskola buzz tracker, called "monster kick" it features three oscillators plus an overtone generator... i had fun.

so... this is typical SeaWasp with an overtone kick ;)
the bassline is deep, so deep it can be felt ... :P

(cybernetika, genetisis is proving to be virtually impossible
:whip: ) ;)

tempo: 150
time: 7:53
bitrate: 128 kbps
pluggies/softs: FLstudio5, monster kick, 3osc, fruit kick, ts-404

link: link
find the player in the lower right, choose tesselation

enjoy :D

<_< >_> uh... lets give this a bump

That monster kick is real cool  ! Nice float and clear sound with a lot of energy. Good job!

Once again (something I see consistent with a lot of the tracks posted here) the introduction just takes too damn long. I know its supposed to be progressive and all, but I just think its too long.

I like the idea of having that psytrance-type of kick at a faster bpm, and the bass kind of fits with it... I guess... but unfortunetly the track doesn't go anywhere. The break is boring, and takes way too long. You're going to have to spend a lot of time creating something new. Perhaps a distorted 3xosc lead that changes keys with the song effectively will help.

Anyway, a lot of time can be cut from this track. Spend time creating a lead, and don't just add time onto the track because you can.

akia- heh... thought maybe i overamped the bass before exporting:)

DigitalDisaster- try having some patience... what do you have against a 1 and a half minute introduction? (try some old platipus stuff, there's one on there w/ a three minute intro) i do not just make stuff to take up time, it's never really ever meant to be a time filler, each layer has to be introduced at an appropriate time, and removed at an appropriate time. according to me, and to a lot of other people, that structure is the perfect trance structure ;). also i think you'll be hard pressed to find something on here that starts with doof doof doof doof
so over all, get some patience, and try listening again. (on a further note, you don't seem to like the idea of an introduction, judging by previous posts)

Ok maybe I was a little too hard on a fellow FLstudio...er.

The intro wasn't bad, just a little teeny weeny bit too long for me. The track is interesting. I'm listening again.... I do like the hats that are introduced around 40 seconds in (can't tell exactly because the player doesn't show the time!) tune them UP! Yeah... mmm hmmm... the track just gets too repetitive. ADD A KEY CHANGE AT LEAST! The bass will thank you for it. Interesting/somewhat creative track overall, I'd like to hear any improvements on it if you have some let me know. Or just send me a zip compressed flp file and let me do it :disbelief :whip:

Also, post a link directly to the mp3 rather than make people guess where it is on your blog -- you may get more feedback.

Link doesnt work.

Also most dance music has a long introduction because its designed to be mixed. Trance mixing is a long slow progressive blend of 2 tracks normally. Thats impossible with no intro. I do wanna check out this track though.

DigitalDisaster- hmmm... *steps off soapbox* yeah maybe that break was a bit long, on second listen, also, i think the levels got screwed up before i exported it... using formatting keys (ie: shift, ctrl, alt, etc.) tend to do weird things to your everything. i've edited all the levels and boosted the hihat, and melody levels. I will re-render it when i get home.

Rinski2000- ehm.... i changed the link directly to the player, so it should actually work

sounds monophonic and hardcore like, altho i definatelly hear some psy elements, this could go into category of "dark psy" maybe i am missing something? sounds like you're inventing your own style or good old experiment sound. Also sounds too metalic for my taste, altho i always favor new ideas. pretty cool flick :)

i've updated the track, and fixed some levels... the bass was indeed way too much...
link is still the original link. ;)
enjoy ;)

This is very original. Kind of cool though. Its hard to say what genre it would fit into. Good work work keep up the original sounds.

P.S Im a dick head. I got my Pop up blocker on thats why the link wouldnt work.
