Hey guys just wondering if some of you could check this out for me and give me some feedback. Im fairly new to production and just using a basic computer conected to a HiFi so if you could please let me know what needs to be improved and how. Its a trance track featuring vocals from fatboy slim and even has a bit of breaks sort of beats thrown in. Thanks Guys looking forward to your response.

Once again the intro is just too progressive, in my opinion. The introduction of the vocals isn't my type... I think that you rest too much on the vocals and hope that they will carry the track. The break is too simple... there just aren't enough synths/strings/basses introduced yet to really consider it a good track... or even a track yet.

Wow, you have a really nice sounding lead synth here, your climax works too. The filtered arps and the lead synth work with the bass... nice sound. The progression of the lead is good... I suggest you make a string pattern out of it and add it to the break we heard a little while ago (with a nice filter and lots of reeverb of course) that would probably fill the gap.

Once again I can see that your strong point is the climax and the lead synth. Nice work on those. However, you need to work on your intro and the break.

Nice, driving kick! I think the vocals sounds very good, maybe a bit overused, if I would complain. Awesome break! I want to dance to this! Well done!

Takere!

I agree with akia in that the vocals are a bit overused.

Like the build up at 3:45, but it builds a little slowly i think. Oh... and I was expecting something more at 4:10. And maybe some effects before 4:35 to alert the listener that it's building before that bass comes in.

Some nice ideas in this, listen to some tracks that influence you and see how they build and such, good potential in this, you just need to get used to your software and such.

Keep it up, hear more from ya soon ;)

Thanks guys that was some really good feedback. I think your right with the overused vocals and the everything else. When I finish my next version taking some of this into account I will repost it and see if you like it better. I did actually make this track over one night. start to finish. Still plenty more work to do.
