I've taken a pretty long break from spinning. This is also due to the fact that im not exactly swimming in money, so buying new tunes is out of the option right now, thus my off-set of mixing. I am bored with all 200-250 of my records.
However I am supposed to get my credit card next week (first one) so I may make a few cheap purchases on beatport.
Man I wish I could play out somewhere. In fact the day I type this, there would ahve been a gig for me (if I called the guy up and let him know I was coming) but I passed, because I can't get excited about spinning when all my tunes are out of date and 'not fresh'
Anyways, just a random thread to put out there. (I'm between jobs at the moment, which is why I'm doing a lot of soul searching, and yes, spinning and making money would be the ultimate.) |
