ok if this is in the wrong forum, flame away
if not, then:
what is a reasonable price for a well-working used CDJ800??
my buddy is looking for a cdj to mess around with in his basement (yes, hes going to buy 2)
so just curious
actually, maybe i should add
is there another cdj that you would recomend thats cheaper?

Well from chemical records you can get two new 800's for £884.26 or about 1,995.32 CAD.
so about half of that? 1,000- 1,300 CAD Id say most people would recommend getting brand new cdjs because unlike the technics 1200's they might not last if abused and im not too sure if you can fix electronic faults. |

If your looking for CDJ800 MKI's, then you can expect to buy used ones. They go for around $400-500US on Ebay +shipping. If you want CDJ800 MK2's, then the prices can range from about $550-700US new/used +shipping.
If your looking for something cheaper, then you can go for CDJ200's. They're a model below the CDJ800's. Those can range from $275-350US on Ebay.
I live in Canada and I'd reccomend using Ebay if your buying new from stores on Ebay. I bought all my gear from Ebay and I saved tons. :toocool: |

i was closeish
yeh i get great deals there because i know the manager so i get 15% discount from that and then a 10% discount from work :D so i dont really know the stock prices |
