Just saw this tracklist posted on ITM - thought a few TA's might be interested. I've never been a massive fan of Luke's sound personally, but the tracklisting looks quite interesting..

| It would be interesting to see if they made a decision like that. So far every artist that has mixed a Balance has been a DJ first and/if a producer second as opposed to the other way around (i guess you could argue that Holden perhaps wasn't). |

All i can say is WOW! Im eating my words here but the first disc is brilliant. its a fvcking journey and i love it! second disc isnt as good but still quite enjoyable.
I dont think 16 bit would make a good CD personally, id prefer someone like fanciulli or zabiela... |

LUKE FAIR - BALANCE 011 TOUR. April 2007
EQ Recordings firmly continues the tradition of premium quality electronic music with its next edition of the well-received Balance Series. Canadian DJ/ Producer Luke Fair grabs listeners with his diverse programming on ‘Balance 011’ and takes us on a funky, tripped-out journey featuring tracks and remixes from Charles Webster, Humate, Timewriter, Francois K, Ian Pooley, Tom Middleton, David Holmes, Joey Negro and more.
In a few short years, Luke Fair has carved quite a reputation for himself as a producer and passionately experimental DJ, making him the perfect choice to follow others such as James Holden, Chris Fortier, Phil K, Paolo Mojo, Desyn Masiello, Anthony Pappa and Jimmy Van M. He has already released mix compilations on well-respected labels Yooshi and Bedrock, with music that can be described as groovy, funky, housey and techy all at the same time. Fair has created a signature style for himself by imagining and re-editing versions of songs for his own sets. In the studio, his genre-crossing productions run the gamut from Dub House to melodic Progressive. His music has landed on every major radio show across the world, including BBC’s Radio 1 Essential Mix and Proton Radio, and his edits have graced the decks with DJs from everybody from John Digweed to Erick Morillo.
This will be Luke Fair's 3rd tour of Australia having won over legions of fans through performances at Sweetchilli, We Love..Sounds, Gods Kitchen, The Loft, Moonbar and many more. The hype that surrounds Luke is real and a result of being very good at what he does. He returns to Australia for a full national tour to show us exactly what that is and why he is one of the hottest, established talents, in the world right now. |

| I'm pretty sure that Melbourne leg is incorrect. It's that date, but it will be presented by Darkbeat & Cassette and it will be at Ffour ;) I may be wrong though, Darius? Anyone? |
