You just CAN'T remix "Sasha - Xpander"! It's one of the biggest trance tunes of all times and every remix is just insulting the original. |
You are aware that "the original" is a cover of Spooky - Little Bullet, right? Seems only fair that people can do what the hell they please with Xpander. |

I dunno, I kinda like it, but it's really missing something without that second higher melody above the main one.
It's not AWESOME but it's not offensive. I do agree it could be good for building up a set. |

I know its totally offtopic, but have any of you ever heard the similarities between Xpander and Jose Amnesia - Eternal
I mean the notes are almost exactly the same... only the rhythm is a bit different.
Not that I would think that one is a ripoff from another.. Its just a coincidence but I find it pretty amusing nevertheless :) |

The funnier part is maybe that blog article:
[QUOTE]A few months ago we were invited by Paul Oakenfold himself to have a meeting. We were really surprised because Paul is a legend and working with artists like Madonna, Pharell, Nelly Furtado and many more. We were very pleased that he wanted to meet us and so we had a meeting in Amsterdam. It was such a nice meeting, we had a lot of fun together and it is always so familiar when you speak to each other about music. He told us he really liked our artist album Synchronicity and played it till death. His exact words where: Those tracks are just ing amazing!
Thats why he decided he wanted us to remix his newest track No Compromise. As u can imagine it was not so difficult for us to decide what to do.. We where really honored and we worked the business things out with his management.
The remix we did is already finished and Paul said that he considers the remix as one of the biggest tracks in his record box. He played the remix on the latest BBC Radio1 Essential Mix live from Ibiza. He also played the remix we did for Jan Johnston's Obsession and opened his set with Fading Ground! For us that is a really big complement when a legend like Paul plays three Mark Norman tracks in such a big show.
Thanks for all the support Paul!/QUOTE] |
