I JUST switched to Rogers yesterday, the port hasn't happened yet on y phone, what gives?
(I got sick of Bell and their TY ass phone selection as well as not informing me of things I could've done but wasn't aware of them but also not having Bell be willing to be retroactive in that respect, them.) I now have a gsm phone. w00t |

Whatever you do, don't get a Razor. Don't be generic, get a different phone. Every other person has that garbage phone. Check out this site for new phones:

nokias have really good reception but their not the greatest looking phones if thats also a concern for you.
and if your willing to dish out some money blackberry's are so good, their reception, apperance and everything is awesome.
im getting the blackberry pearl i think, its smaller then the regular size.
anddddddd thats the best i could suggest based on what i know.
oh ps. to anyone who maybe dosent know?
if your with rogers, telus, fido w/e and your looking to buy a phone, you can get one even if its not from the company your with, and you just go get the phone decoded..costs around $20 no more.
everyone has always told me if im with telus or rogers etc. i can only buy a phone that my company sells..but ITS NOT TRUE:eek: lol
and usually those cell phone kiosks are where you can decode them.
Wireless wave <-- is a really good place to get good advice on buying cell phones and plans. *two thumbs up* lol:tongue2 |

Hahah Wireless wave is definatly not a good place to get advise on Cell phones, I used to manage a Wireless Wave and most of them are crooks, Telus and Bell phones can't be unlocked due to the fact that they are CDMA phones. You can only unlocked GSM phones which are carried by Fido and Rogers. |

I was out last weekend and my friend looked at my phone and said "2001 called, they want their phone back"

I need a new one badly!! I am with rogers - have been for years - I want to buy the phone outright instead of getting it cheap with a plan.
