I must have a ghey gene floating around in me cause a love interior decorating. Just finished my bathroom. The trim and cabinet were a disgusting cheap wood that had been shellacked. I updated it to a bright colorful Caribbean look.

that mirror is way too small and the tissue box holder is atrocious. The endless sea of blue is out of control, and you need new tile.
...IMO |

Where's the window treatment? | just before i decided to paint i bought a tan curtain to match the brown cabinet but after i painted it didn't work so i returned it. I'm looking for replacements that match. I haven't found teal colored ones and most are to long either 84" or 63". I'm thinking of just getting fabric and making my own.
I also need to decide what to do with the drawers under the sink. They aren't functional so i left off the knobs. I hate reaching for a draw only to find out its fake. But it looks a little bare so I'm going to need to do something.
As for the tile and the mirror, this is a rented apartment so I'm not going to waste money on something i cant take with me. |

don't match the curtains to the walls or cabinets. introduce another color (maybe a coral-orange?). then match the curtains to the towels, and rugs (get a rug for around your toilet!). Next, get a busy shower curtain, that is the main focal point and ties in all the colors and theme. I'm sure you can find lots of things online, for pretty cheap.
edit: i REALLY like the walls, what kind of texture effect did you use? |

I actually really like it, nice job! Come do mine now pls?
I agree though, the mirror seems really small, might wanna look into a wider , flat mirror.
EDIT: I just read about the mirror...I guess that'll do. |

EW! Orange? That would tack-ify his bathroom, regardless of the shade.
-YES! Rug around toilet is a must!
-Busy shower curtain ,yes but make it the same shades at the rest of the bathroom. |

| Ooohhh, you know what would be a nice effect? You're a guy and if you don't mind giving up great lighting for your bathroom, you should try get some colored bulbs for your mirror light (stay away from dark colors). I think it would make it a little less 'hotel-ish' and warm things up....just like the beach. |

maybe not, hence the question mark ;) i didn't mean a bright orange, but more so a terra cotta/pinky/orange type. maybe it would work, maybe it wouldn't...but i definitely suggest another color. |

| Yes, I agree on the "another color" part. Too much of one color makes a bathroom dull. You do want brightness to make your bathroom lively. People seem to not realize that we do spend quite a lot of time in our bathrooms ( no not just women ) and you want to make it cozy as possible. |

| p.s. put some stuff on the walls! frames are cheap, if you have a good printer, you can get by with finding some cool beach views and stuff online. |
