I first heard Cosmos - "Take Me With You" on Nick Warren's MOS set and immediately thought it was some ancient track pulled off the shelf somewhere! :) It's amazing the way Tom Middleton got that retro sound.
Anyway, Cosmos is supposedly working on a new compilation album. With some luck, maybe we'll see an accompanying 12" with "Take Me With You" on it.

As far as promo 12"s go, I think only the top jocks (A. Pappa, Nick Warren, etc.) got their hands on them. :(

I totaly agree with you guys, take me with you is briliant.
Tom 'Jedi' Middleton is one of the best Dj & producer.
Its amazing how he mixes the different genres of music.
Just listen his two essential mixes!!
And dont forget his remixes, those Cosmos vocal mixes..... |

it hasnt been released yet on vinyl....there are just CD-R's floating around....but like that dude said..all the top jocks probably have the pressings.

Actually i'm hearing that tom middleton is debating releasing the track. Should be released on vinyl very very soon (I Hope!). It don't need a vocal damnit.....just ruin it like danni minogue ruined stringer.....oh gosh...... |

re: vocals.
well. i would love to hear some 'minimal' vocals on it. now as to who would sound great on it, thats a tough question....
re: stringer.
yeah u are right. that totally ruined it, "commercialism" 100%...got soo sick of hearing it on the local radio....much prefer the original version!..
well' we will have to wait n see wen it comes out! *waits....* ;)

Unfortunately, the track "Take Me With You" isn't on the album or the accompanying unmixed 3x12" pack... :(
I think we should find his e-mail and flood it with requests for this track! :whip:
Seriously, tho.. I hope he decides to release it on 12", b/c it's a great track.
Helen: Isn't there a faint male vocal in the background of this track already? I think it's towards the end of the song... |

hmm..with the version i have heard [anthony pappa 2 weeks ago..] out an\nd have on cd-r ... i cnt seem to hear the vocal?....i have tom middleton's set [essential mix] and there is a female vocal, [the next track] mixin into it..sounds pretty cool too.. :P ....
but maybe there is a faint vocal/sample...
anywayz.
sounds like a good idea...lets flood them with email for a proper 12" release!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
