| omg i love rock...all types....whenever i need a break from trance i always put on my rock...and just chill out...plus every friday i go to a rock club mostly for the chicks but still its in fun as hell |

| I agree with you there totally. I listen to ALL types of music but whenever I got lots of on my mind it's rock/but rock that I listen to. Just listen to the words and you'll always find a song you can relate to. Most peeps here wouldn't understand it cause they only like trance and are against anything else. I'm running for cover - |

that is exactly how i feel...no matter what u can find a song that relates to you and ur current situation/situations...it helps |

first of all: I like rock and all sorts of music, and I LOVE trance. still, I don't mind going to a rockparty, or even a death metal party (you can't imagine the wickedness of those parties ! :D )
I try to be as open-minded to all styles of music as I can be (except for classic muziek, gives me a headache (really) and songs the workers on buildingplaces put on (singing in dutch... sooooo bad)).
anywayz: "all the same and stupid". if you say this, I think you also should shut up when people call trance 'all the same and stupid' because in my opinion that is EXACTLY the same!! and you guys are always complaining that peeps that are not into trance are calling your music stupid blabla. BUT YOU ARE DOING THE EXACT SAME THING TO THEM!!!!
if you have this attitude towards rock or other styles other people won't even try to listen and understand trance. if you show respect to their music, these peeps actually might get a better opinion about trance. it is all a little bit of giving and a little bit of taking :)

| Torontotrance,you can say a lot of things about rock,but it is NOT dying.That's just like when rockers say that trance is dying(complete bull).Of course if you mean P.O.D,Creed,Staind and Nickelback and so on when you say rock,I can understand how feel.But there are a whole bunch of rock bands that are doing well,that actually are VERY talented.The Strokes have initiated a new renaissance in rock,followed by bands like The White Stripes,Black Rebel Motorcycle Club,The Hives and many more.But for some reason,brilliant bands like these seem to pass by the US residents,and they keep defining rock with bands like those mentioned above.Open your eyes,dammit! |
