DJ Tables/Stands

So, I'm in the market for a new table to hold all my gear (2 cdj 800 mk2s, a djm 400, a Numark TT-1520, and my laptop). Before you go and say build one yourself, I'm terrible when it comes to that and would rather plunk down some cash on something quality. Obviously, there's not that much to choose from. I was looking at the Sefour tables. There's the X-10 in black which looks pretty sweet. I'd get it with the optional Large bracket to hold the cdjs over it, put the mixer in the middle, TT on one side, and the laptop on the other. Storage below.

It's 519.00, free shipping. Pricey I know.

Then there's the Sefour X25 collapsible stand. It holds everything the X10 does but no storage below and no space for a laptop (only space for cdjs and TTs). Same price with large bracket...519.00.

The other option is to just but a regular, cheap wooden desk from Target for example and then buy a Large CDJ bracket for 200 bucks to mount onto the desk.

The thing is, I'm worried that a typical average quality , thin wooden desk, wont be able to support the load of the bracket and 2 cdjs.

So this is what I've got right now. Does anyone have any of these items/setups? What is your opinion of them in general. What would you guys do in my shoes, assuming you could afford the 519.00 if you had to.

Wow...spending 519 $$ or building my own. I think I'll go with the latter.

Well, they sell em for a reason (yeah suckers like me I know, but people out there have to have em.)

Go to Office Max, Office Depot, Ikea, or a department store like Kmart or Meijer for that matter....buy a folding table. Use books to raise your CDJs, and or boxes and or if you have stands for them to raise them up. Better yet, get a coffin for the CDJs and the mixer, and then get either a stand for your laptop or see if you have enough room for both your TT and the laptop as well. Cheap, but you don't need anything that fancy unless you really have money burning in your pocket.

Ikea makes tables that are perfect height for djs.

Yeah they do have these wooden tables that i've been looking at that can reach like 60'' high, depending on what type of legs you buy. But table length isn't quite long enough to fit everything that he wants.

In that table (both) there's no room for record cases, which can be put on the same level with the equipment. Personally i prefer this. It's so clomsy to take records from other level. But of course, u can use some other table for this.

Yep. I had a nice desktop (they also sell just the table tops at Ikea), and I bought some of their extendible legs to raise the setup up to waist height. Used a cheap wire shelf to hold the CDJ's, and some cheap speaker stands to hold my monitors. All told you could probably do it for 300? Ikea also sells a "jerker" desk or something like that for around $100-200, which has adjustable shelving.

Here's what I've done:

Build it yourself man, that desk doesn't even look good lol.

Yeah - there's pretty much no reason to support Sefour when you can make something infinitely better for far less money.

Ikea and Target will both have everything you need, just get a little creative.

That's awesome. Actually I'm looking to build my setup almost identically like that. (for now)
