Haha. I just dug up these tracks from which i made in the year 2002 on my dear Playstation 2 machine.

Just thought i finally cast shadow on the past, and share these tracks.

A. Project Seven - End Of Days (Original Mix)

B. Project Seven - No Return (Original Mix)

All tracks are made using MTV Music Generator 2, on Playstation 2.

All sounds are made of one shots samples contained in the program, no pre-made riffs has been used.

I hope some take interest in hearing. :)

Although these are not bad at all, and I have to say a thank you for this share,
I won't play these tracks twice. Somehow these tunes didn't touch me, I guess it's the best expression.

Haha.. yay.. i can totally understand that.. either of them has any chord progression at all.. and the No Return was an awful attempt to create a track sounding like Solar Factor - No Return..

End Of Days is almost 10 minutes long and only consists of the notes C, D# D to E.. i thought i`d made the choon of the year :haha:

Thanks all for listening though :)

Of course! It's always a pleasure to listen to your tunes (at least first time :D :D )

To be serious, I'm in listening to your Project Seven remixes,
I followed the links to your site.
I couldn't listen to all of them, but I downloaded almost all of those.

Darren Tate vs. Jono Grant - Let the Light Shine in /Project Seven Remix/
I really miss the vocals!! I have a friend who is also a music producer (he's got fewer skills than you...)
He told me, a vocal remix is damn hard to make for a rookie producer,
and I sent him to hell :) and I said at least try, because if you never do it, you will never learn it :D
Although it's pretty simple, I liked your remix, but a vocal mix would be much nicer!

Push - Universal Nation /Project Seven Remix/
khm... not enough for me...

[p.e.g] - Aftermath /Project Seven Remix/
I was not stunned by this track at all

Rank 1 - Airwave /Project Seven Remix/
decent, but the low bitrate killed my joy :)

The Thrillseekers - Synaesthesia (Project Seven Remix)
wonderful tune, this was the first I heard from you, almost 2 years ago, 8.7/10

More opinions will come later or in another post of your tunes.
I don't like progressive trance, so your Subtara alias is definitely not for me.... :)

Wow, dude.. cheers for listening to so many tracks :)

I think the Darren Tate remix was pretty poor, could have done much more with it, but people actually seem to like it. As for the vocals, ahrghh its always a bitch, guess it is for most rookie producers as well.. i couldnt touch a vocals if I didnt have the exact sync tempo on them. hehe.

Universal Nation remix, in the moment i thought i`d made something cool, but it really was fluffy tune with bad synthwork

Aftermath remix, yeah its not perfect.. but i like it, its my newest remix under the strictly trance alias, and im glad you listened to it.

Rank 1 remix, haha.. my first ever computer made remix. thought i had that supersaw synth all figured out. But actually thinking of how few layers of sound the track had overall.. it wasnt all that bad.

Synaesthsia remix, haha.. was a milestone for me, i was so excited by Helstrips own comment in the thread on t.nu, and alot of people really liked this track, cool u remember it.

Ive tried composing and producing a regular trance tune for years, but i just cant do it, im so demanding of the trance i listen to, that I never get satisfied with either the melody or the lead sound, or if not.. track never gets good enough.

That is why ive been making more proggressive stuff, as im more comfortable working in tempo around 130, and dont have to think about making huge leads.

So, now you know that :)

new Project Seven in the works though, 5 years since last time. :stongue:

reviewing "End Of Days" while listening...
haha sounds pretty cool for something created on the ps2!:tongue2
nice bassline, nice melody at around 2:10.. its a bit long till the breakdown.. i like the 2nd lead in the breakdown, and the heavy kick drops.. overall pretty cool for something made for the ps2..

7/10

reviewing "No Return"
cool bassline.. cool lead.. i like the breakdown.. the intro is a bit long... also the length of the 2 tunes... 9:49 & 8:31....
dont have much to say about this one... other then it sounds still a bit flat/plain.. but its a lot different when you make something on the ps2 and or on the pc.... overall it sounded ok.

6/10
