Hey all, I did a search and didn't come up with anything on it...
I recently had the opportunity to use Pioneer DVJ's at a local club here and the owner wants some new DJ's that know how to use the equipment. Since it's fairly new to me and the owner is letting me come in whenever I want in the afternoons to use his equipment I had some questions..
-Is there a place to get good videos for electronic music?
-If i want to make my own videos, where would I get clips?
-What's a good program to use? (I had in mind Adobe Audition or Sony Vegas?)
The owner has lots of top40, rock, and rap/hip-hop music videos but none for EDM. Any other help would be appreciated! This is a really awesome opprtunity for me so thanks in advance.

Here is the DVJ Ill be working with
http://cachepe.zzounds.com/media/qu...43c29980f4a.jpg
basically it runs just like a CDJ-1000MK3 except it plays DVD music video's. Or if you want you can DJ just the video and mix the music with the video from another source or just DJ music without the video. |

Sorry I worded the question wrong, I know the equipment, but what do the actual VDJs do?, Does the daancefloor watch an 8 hour marathon set of movie clips? |

Sortof, The video is mostly supposed to be a supplement to the music. |

Well it doesn't fade between the video's you control the source separately. So it's not like if your fader is halfway then you see half of one video and half of the other. There may be a way to do that but I don't know about it |
