woo! had a gr8 time. I was dancing like a bellend to the house upstairs after Taj too. next time I totally have to meet up with you TAers.
is it just me or was 1015's soundsystem in the main room a bit off? especially for james's set. |

Hey n0nsensical. Good to see you made it out for this. Uhm, wasent there early for James set... I was holding things down at another club Myst I opened up for. So Sorry for missin out James.
I did arrive just as Alex was coming on. I was impressed with the turnout for Alex. The room was packed and resembled night simliar to PVD nights, and just as packed as when ATB comes.
All in all, I was very impressed with Alex. His attitude towards us all, and his skills.
When I arrived at the club, he shook my hand and was very happy and in good spirits. After seeing him in person again, I realized that he looks strikingly similar to my Dj Partner Artimus. Alot of you were saying that, expecially after he took Arties Hat and wore it for a bit durnig his set. Lex was saying Artimus Morph.. hehe.
If I remember right, Arty was telling me that he was a bit German. At the end of Alex set I grabbed the mic and asked you all to show him some love. Alex took the mic from me and wanted to say something to you all.
Those of you who missed what he was saying, He simply stated San Francisco, Thank you, and I love you.
Afterwards, Alex took some pics on his camera phone. Some TA 's and us were lucky enough to get in on some of those pics. Not to mention he took a bunch of the crowd during his set.
What was really cool is Alex actually took the time to say goodbye to me. Like actually coming up to me and saying goodbye. He has to be one of the nicest Djs I have ever met. I was very happy to share his night with all of you. Great Vibe, Great music, Great people.
Those who say Trance is on the out needs to listen to sets from Djs like Alex. Very impressed with his track selection for the night.
Cant wait till he returns again. Hopefully ill get a chance to play in front of him someday...

After his set, Alex was saying over and over again (without even asking) "What a great night. Beautiful city. Wow"
He said that or a variant of that at least 3 or 4 times..just mumbling it out loud to himself as he was running around taking pics, getting his things together, etc.
BTW, packed like PvD? Nah. :p PvD makes Ten15 a scary place to be it's so packed lol!!!
But maybe some day it'll be like that for Alex.
Anyhow, yeah, I was actually impressed with the size of the crowd, especially since it was raining hardcore outside for quite a bit.
Thought James did a good job opening, albeit I only heard like 40 minutes minutes of it. Good track selection, good range BPM (for Alex who likes to be in the 140s within a few tracks), etc. A bit rough on the transitions, though!

Good times, all! Fantastic sets from everyone -- Alex was especially laid back and clearly having fun on stage. Can't wait to see him out in SF again!

My pictures aren't nearly as cool as everyone else's. I had a great time. It was a nice and fluffy set throughout most of the night. I enjoyed it a lot. Nice to meet you Dave and Lexsc400. (sorry I forgot your real name.)
