Dude, were just saying, or at least i am, that the man doesnt put in the effort, that album seemed like it was made in a week....

The Quality just isnt there anymore....he knew that he could have made anything and sold alot....

Look, maybe some people just have outgrown tiesto, i dont know, i still give the man respect cause he opened the door for me and many people on this board.....maybe he was aiming for younger, more mainstream clientele, who knows

exactly my point... he hasnt the same passion has he used to have. yes he opened many doors... but the spirit of the guy isnt the same anymore

Tiesto's Elements of Life tour promo

As for Tiesto, thank goodness I got into trance because of Ferry. If I got into trance b/c of Tiesto, and knowing how ty he is now, I'd probably go listen to happy hardcore country. (maybe some Gilles Vigneault?) :p

I read these posts and all I do is laugh at all these people bashing Tiesto.

I personally think this CD is great, and in no way would I call it garbage like some people do. All people that say its garbage and pretend to know so much about the music, why don't u release a in cd if u think u know whats good. You people sound like those old farts at bars bashing pro athelthes because they think they know what they should do.

In all honesty tell me one DJ who puts out more stuff then Tiesto, most of the DJ's these days are one hit wonders, except a few. They come and go like boybands.

You say his passion is gone ? Meh I know he still has it, but doing this day in day out for the number of years he has takes a toll on you. Everyone has thier peak. Its human nature, happens with athletes everyone.

You really think hes doing this for money ? Buddy probably has more money then you can count. The guy loves what he does.

You guys say his 5 years ago was better, i dun't know. 5 years ago all EDM sounded different, the music and the scene has evolved and so have the artists. Its more mainstream, I guess a lot of you aren't very mainstream, little hardcore edm rats polishing your cds from 10 years ago.

You guys can bash Tiesto all you want, you think he gives a rats ass, but please continue cuz I find it very amusing. I know and you know that next time hes near a party you are u will probably be there. And I know that the man has done more then anyone has ever done and will for the scene.

What a stupid argument. So for me to criticize, say Ford or Dodge, I need to build my own car? C'mon.

Quantity != quality. I'd much rather have a producer release 1-2 stellar productions, instead of filling a CD with garbage.

And there are others who keep whoring themselves year after year. Think Cher Goodbye Tour that lasted like a decade.

Yes.

Yes, he loves getting even more money.

Personally, I don't like to classify music as mainstream or not. It's either good or bad. That's it. Tiesto released (well Tiesto Corp. rather) a number of MASSIVE tunes back in the day. They were good. Now what they release is .
