Favorite Television Comedy Shows

Unfortunately, I find myself becoming one of the more bitter elder people who think everything from their generation was great and everything new sucks. Need to find some good quality comedy on television! The only funny stuff I find on television nowadays is Daily Show, Colbert Report, South Park, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. I used to love the Simpsons but I feel as if they have dumbed down their humor in the last 3 to 4 years.
P.S. I hate that Arrested Development is off the air (one of the best comedy sitcoms to ever air).

yes....I have actually indulged and enjoyed Drawn Together. very risque show. i still remember the episode when foxy was demonstrating some serious dildo (don't know if that word is appropriate on here) action to the pig. |

| I feel the same way. The Office, while a contender, is not even close to the old shows. If I watch any TV, its Seinfeld reruns and the Stooges if I'm lucky. Other than that, I pretty much never watch TV. But, this is not because I've given up on it or something, it's just a question of habit - or lack thereof. In fact I could not tell you the last time I turned mine on. I leave it unplugged. Anyway, Everybody Loves Raymond is decent but still seems "forced". Seinfeld seems forced on many occasions too but that seems more like a part of his personality so its not as bad. |
