I have a new favorite tune of the moment and I decided to try and make a midi file out of it. Just messing around in Logic. :)
Song: Sonic Division - Painting the Silence
Here's what I have:

The arrangement doesn't match the original, I'm just trying to recreate the main melody; I could use some help though because I'm not sure I have it right.

I like the original loop better, but yours sounds really nice too. There's an alternate arp that's absent in your tune that really makes it feel lacking somehow.
I like how the original clip feels slower and more chilled out. It's a slight difference but I can hear it. Also the sound of the main line needs to be more stabby. It needs to cut through the mix.
I'm just nitpicking. Overall you did a great job. |

I'm going to work on it a little more and then if you guys want I'll post the midi file along with the Logic session.
That background melody does make a huge difference, I'm going to see if I can recreate it, it's going to be tough though, I can tell. |

The first time I heard this track on TATW I was hooked! One of those tunes that gives me shivers :D
Doing a remix of the track would be cool, but I don't think I can match the quality and beauty of the original... |
