Does anyone know the correct mix of Humate - 3.2 that was used on the Sasha & Digweed - Northern Exposure 2 - Westcoast CD?
From what I've gathered thus far (and w/o owning the vinyls), it's the original mix of 3.2, released on Superstition (2301-6) in 1995. (http://www.superstition.de)
Although some say it's the Bedrock Mix of 3.2 on Platipus (PLAT 47).
Can anyone *please* verify which is the correct mix? :conf: |

The Bedrock's ambient mix is way different. |

Bedrock made two remixes, an ambient one and a regular one. I think he means the regular one, not the ambient one. IMO the Bedrock mix is the best version of Humate's 3.2. |

OK, I have the Original mix & the ambient mix + I have the west-coast edition CD. The west-coast version is very simular to the original mix so Im positive it is the original one.
But I havent heard the Bedrock "regular" mix. I didnt even know it exists. Im d/l it now. |

Humate - 3.1 1998 [PLAT47CD / PLAT47]
1) 3.2 - Bedrock Mix (12.16)
2) 3.1 (7.07)
3) 3.2 (10.10)
4) 3.3 (5.27)
5) 3.1 - Humate's '98 Mix (6.07)
6) 3.1 - Mijk Van Dijk Remix (6.07)
7) 3.2 - Bedrock Ambient Mix (6.55)
Released 12/98. The last release of '98 from Platipus is the excellent 3.2 by Humate. The best mix of the lot, the 3.2 Bedrock Mix, also features on Platipus Volume 4. The other mixes aren't anything to write home about really.
And a little message from Platipus on the back cover of this CD reads: "The Chart Information Network (C.I.N) have changed the rules so that 'You' the Punter, can no longer purchase a single with more than 3 mixes on it. That's why we have made this CD single with 7 mixes on it, the way it should be - 'Value for your money'. For anyone from C.I.N. that reads this, f**ck your rules!"
I personally applaud Platipus for standing up against C.I.N. I encourage everyone to do the same - C.I.N are ing up our music industry - they need to be made to listen.

Alright, here we go... :)
Superstition releases (www.superstition.de):

B | 2 - Humate: 3.3
3 & The Remixes by Humate
release-date: 02.10.1998 | 2822-6 | 2x12 inch
A | 1 - Humate: 3.1 (Humate's 98 Mix)
B | 1 - Humate: 3.1
B | 2 - Humate: 3.3
C | 1 - Humate: 3.2 (Digweed & Muir's Bedrock Mix)
D | 1 - Humate: 3.1 (Mijk van Dijk Remix)
----
I managed to acquire Humate - "3 and the Remixes" on Superstition, which contains "Digweed and Muir's Bedrock Mix". This mix is definitely not the one on NE2.
Since I don't have the "Bedrock Mix" on 12" (the Platipus release), I cannot confirm that "Digweed & Muir's Bedrock Mix" is the same track as the "Bedrock Mix". I'm going to check my 12" tonight to see if the track time is the same as the one GrimReaper posted (Platipus release).
If "Digweed & Muir's Bedrock Mix" is the same as the "Bedrock Mix", then the mix on NE2 must be the original mix (b/c there's no other mixes left! ;))
I should have mentioned that the Bedrock Ambient Mix was not the same as the Bedrock Mix, b/c I already discovered that...
Now.. does anyone know where I can find the original 3.1 release on Superstition?! :D
Many thanks for the help! |

I finally found a copy of Humate - 3.1 on Superstition, and it does contain the Original Mix of 3.2 used on NE2 - Westcoast. |
