and now my late review.....
Straight up Lawler killed it as i expected....got there at 12 and Manzone and Strong were killing it and TiL was bouncing nicely....
DID HE REALLY PLAY TILL 6:30??????????
He started to slow down at 5 so i thought he was finishing and we headed out....
I didnt here any of my favs off of VIVA but he was booming all night and that made up for it in many ways.....
It was cool meeting chinamon, he has the best job in the world.....
Tune of the Night - i didnt no many tunes but everything was built up perfectly and dropped hard.....
Hounarble Mentions to - Sexy Back i was screaming YEA through that whole track....
This is London is an awesome wikid club i will go back there and i cant wait for the nex Lawler residency night...... |

I keep on hearing people say he played until 6:30...maybe your clocks still need to be re-adjusted as it was 5:30 when the lights came on. And with that, it was 4 hours of that Lawler sound...so many good tracks, so little time. |

No.
Last track was around 5:20-5:30, lights on and Lawler out the door...I dropped my friend off at her place around 6 and arrived to my other friend's place a little after 6:30.
p.s. I'm not one to argue on the internet, especially about inane things like when a party ended...but ya know. |

I thought Lawler was better last night than his New Years day set. He was tighter and for a good 30-40 mins in the middle he ing had that place by the balls. Just slammed that room! However, I could have done without the 6 (count them 6!) repeat tracks!
|
Hugs n'kisses into aftermath was a bit redundant, but 6 tracks in a set 3 months later, not that big of a deal. I can't imagine that its easy to find tunes that fit your sound at such a high frequency that you can completely rework sets in 3 months. |

AMAZING night, couldn't ask for more. lawler simply killed it. best night ever, musically.
some of the tunes i remember he played:
jamie jones - panic tool (intro track)
pryda - aftermath

audion - mouth to mouth
criss source - hugs n kisses
sexy back
nathan fake - outhouse (valentino kanzyani remix)
oscar and stereofreak - gipfeltreffen
andrew - sombatiki
plastik - plastik (alex dolby plastik vision mix)
joris voorn - mpx 309 |
