Dom Kane - Dom Kane is a name you couldn’t escape in 2006. Owner of Xeton Records and A&R for Randomize Records with Rui Da Silva. Add to this, an EP on 64 Records, remixes on Erase Records, Fat! Records, 852 Records, Climax Recordings, Stranamente, Knob Records, and of course Xeton Records, not to mention his much-acclaimed reworks of Orbital, Flash Brothers, and Underworld as heard in his live sets around the world.

Propelled into the big league by his remake of the Orbital classic ‘Halcyon’, Dom inserted his unique blend of electro house and 4-4 Breaks to the track, which gained plays from James Zabiela, Hernan Cattaneo, Sander Kleinenberg, Sasha, Matt Darey, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, and the almighty Pete Tong on BBC Radio One's Essential Selection… not to mention both the Hartnoll brothers behind the original track itself, gaining rave reviews from DJ Magazine, IDJ, and Mixmag to name a few.

Having first started DJing in 1992 when free-parties were rife, discovering the love of performing to a 2000-strong crowd, by 1995 he was performing with residencies around the Southwest, and guest slots in Ibiza during the summer of 1998 in 2003, Dom launched Bristol's infamous night Evolve. In 2004, Dom began his weekly residency in New York on X-Mix 93.1 FM and guest slots on Proton Radio receiving support & interest from major record labels and artists from around the globe for his mixing and his production. In 2005, Dom gained residencies around the world, including Proton Radio, X-Mix FM, and German DJ Radio, along with guest shows on stations like Sunshine Live, being broadcast on Satellite and DAB Radio in Germany.

2006 saw Dom Kane on a four month Tour of Eastern Europe with BenQ-Siemens to launch the new brand of 3G mobile phones, along with high profile gigs and releases, gaining huge exposure and rave reviews, causing aptly stated feedback such as: “Kane is a genius… The man pisses excellence!”

Need we say more?

Many influences consist of Armin Van Burren, Markus Schulz, Luke Chable, Noel Sanger, and Gabriel & Dresden. Tim Grube currently utilizes two Numark TT1625 turntables, one DJM-600 mixer, one Gemini CDJ-20, One Gemini CD-1800X, two CDJ-1000's and uses a pair of Sony MDRV-700 headphones during his sets.
