I love dogs - especially my new girl :)
She's a Welsh ... I got her from the Humane Society in Boulder - she came spayed, with microchip, free dog training lessons, up to date on all her shots, etc.
You know... I'm just not going to go there.

PS. They are not annoying.
Sorry, I was vague on that. Beagles are wonderful dogs. By annoying, I meant to say that they are not fun to search for after they have run away. :p
Please forgive me, Margs.

That's nice of you seeing as I've wanted to adopt a dog for years and I finally was able to when I moved to Colorado.

I think they get groomed every couple of months...less often in the winter, of course! well they get their face trimmed...we don't do it ourselves, we have a dog groomer! you can see what it looks like if you go to page 8 of this thread, I posted pics of my dogs!

oh yeah? how often do you shave the tzu? do you shave the entire face and the body? i wonder how that looks. You even shaved the dog during winter? I love tzu's but i don't like how furry they are. I love how those dogs sit up when they want attention! AW.

Boiled, BBQ'd, on a stick, in the microwave or in shanny's magic pressure cooking device?
I actually prefer to roast them over a fire consisting of 5 birch logs approx. 1 foot in length and 6 inches in width. The dog must be placed on a clothes hanger that has been unravelled and straightened as the tiny diameter of the hanger minimizes the size of the hole through the dog therefore allowing it to remain in tact and subsequently reduce the risk of splitting upon cooking.

for those who "party" and live alone... is it not hard to keep a dog and be there for it... especially when going to "all night dance parties". think of your dog being at home alone for 12 hrs needing to go pee!!!
the point im getting at is.... isnt it hard ot have a dog when you go out and party? cats can look after themselves, they are not a problem, but dogs demand attention.
