Why when the SF local DJs (superstar DJs not included) are generally better? :-p

But honestly, the pool party is mainly progressive and house and the locals up here just destroy the LA prog/house DJs I have heard (in an overall capacity, not saying any one SF DJ is better than any one LA DJ).
One thing with SF DJs too is that there seem to be a lot more well-rounded DJs. DJs who can play many genres (mainly between house, prog, breaks, and trance) all beautifully. I know tons of peeps out there who like to play all the genres but in the end are really good at one and need practice with a lot of the others. I like playing it all but I suck with breaks so I gave up on that. I seem to do well with the good prog and house and with some trance tracks -- but I'm a lousy bedroom DJ who ends up practicing in spurts "[. What's funny is that I have a super hard time with trance tracks from 1998-2002...just how the tracks are laid out, it roughs me up...like a melody or vocal kicking in when I wish it didn't lol. But then again, maybe it was an era where being perfect didn't matter....cause a lot of the big DJs from back then are rammed these days about how they can't mix whether it's beatmatching or phrasematching. Yet back then their DJing was so awesome lol.
OK, back to the topic. Looking forward to SvD the most obviously!! THough wish he found his way here one time between now and then, too...cause I need lots of SVD!! |

I think the name implies that the party is about the Spundae and FlirtyFlirty DJ family. Local DJs who they consider pretty much family (resident or not!)!. I could be wrong, I've never asked!!
I'll prob never get to make it one of these, though. :( |

I don't remember Kaskade being at any of them, of course some of them I don't remember either LOL
anyhow for the last one after LoveFest Donald Glaude was the secret guest he just wasn't promoted since he was at the afterparty as well. D:Fuse also came out and played; Him and Donald eventually ended up tag teaming which was cool. |

lol yeah that was it, d:fuse. i dunno why i thought kaskade :clown: probably cause that whole weekend wiped me out and i missed it |
