Another top Anzac Eve at Ffour. Looks like we're starting to make a bit of a habit of this ;) Was great to see the club so rammed early - i arrived just as Keitel was finishing with the new Whignomy Bros. track - one thing is for sure, they definately know how to write a bassline...
Caught a bit of Ryan Quinsee out back and was impressed with his music yet again. I got the start of Luke's set and he exceeded my expectations. Very groovy prog house, minus the electro e. You could barely find a spot in the main room when he got on - nice work Melburn, getting out to support Balance as always. Thanks to the peeps that came and rocked it with me closing out in the Suite. Rollin Connection were solid as usual from what i heard of the tail end of their set closing out the night. Congrats DB, Cassette & EQ. |

I had a pretty good night. Got in at about 1am after a night of poker and a bottle of wine, and the choons were enjoyable from the word go.
Chatted to a bunch of people, including one girl who looked like she would rather be elsewhere (and judging by the clothes and makeup... Famous! :D). Turns out she was MissyM and I was like "Ohmy!" :P
It was cool to meet you Missy and Anita. I also met and chatted with Darius, and it was interesting to hear his perspective of the night, and then to hear him play.
Thanks for an enjoyable night to everyone involved.
And to think I was going to go to Nathan Fake and only decided against it on monday night. A very good decision, from what I've read :D |
