In theory. False accusations of rape happen often enough that it's rediiculase to support such an unreversable punishment. |

Still they don't happen too often to warrant not using such harsh punishment. Especially in places like Africa where the problem is severe. |

| Jail time is not really an effective deterrent. A device like this will certainly act as a stronger deterrent because of its potential of inflicting severe pain and damage to the pen0r. Some unwitting people may get caught in it. Too bad. But a lot more women will get the revenge they deserve. |

However, the person who was the victim must suffer the rest of their entire life with the emotional and physical trauma of what was done to them?
If there is a proven case of rape... whack it off. It would set a precedent. |
