.. oh well

Yes it does, it's not like artists doesn't do both. It's also about what new artist choose to be their path, and that's mostly what makes the most benefit.
Take the top of the DJ list, there's mostly DJ's who hardly does anything creative on the decks (except fro Zibiela or Eddie if they were there), and they also play more or less the same tracks. Why do these get hyped? You don't think that drives new upcomming artist to go the same lazy way?

Now that you brought on this discussion your not allowed to hate me until we're done.

I would take a set by Clovis or RJT over both Sander and Sean.

me personally i prefer sander because his identity mixes are all pretty good.

but i prefer seans remixes more even though the control freak remix was my fav track of last year, sean is more consistent on tracks.

I couldnt of said it better myself

Thanks Ian.

Come on bas, the thought alone that Sean Tyas will be the next top DJ is totally absurd, and based on nothing.

ignoring the usual hate mail that fills these threads, i think realistically that both djs will probably reach in the top 50 of the popularity contest this year.
somehow i really do think that alot of people on here asume its some kind of league table haha

if they tour alot for the rest of the year then they will do well although both names are well off the radar as far as mainstream clubland is concerned. you only have to see how many years its took above and beyond to break the top 10 and people were saying that they were likely to place even higher.

as for eachothers abilities as djs without taking productions into account, seans getting pretty good reviews as of late, ive heard a few of his mixshows and been pretty impressed with his transitions which are clean and from all accounts stole the show at crasher last week. as for sander, ive seen him a few times and although the mixing is neat, i'll agree with what a few people say about his track selection being a bit bland.

but in all truth, weather some people on here like it or not, these two will be around sniffing at the top end of the poll for the next few years
