Anthem is a fun song to listen to in the club, nice bopper that gets the girls going...
Its not a great song by any means, but its not harsh on the ears either. |

yes, it is. Thankfully, I wouldn't go see anybody who'd dare play it. |

Indeed.
I was into this tune, probably cause it flowed nicely in this set.
Then again I'm all for "cheesiness" :) |

| yeah nothing wrong with cheese, its quite uplifting at times actually. It is getting rediculous how many elitist listeners there are out there. |

Filo & Peri just happen to be one of my top 5 dj's and producers....and I like almost everything they have done, as I do Solarstone, G&D, etc....I personally don't like alot of dj's and I simply choose not to listen to them......
I'm never going to say they suck, worst ever, etc., because I am intelligent enough to understand that someone might enjoy them quite a bit...and by saying it sucks, I would be insulting them..... |
Even someone like you who obvioulsy wants to be the meat in a Filo & Peri sandwich has to admit that Anthem is complete and utter . All artists put out a track every now and then, its ok to call them on it when they do. |

I'm seeing PvD (well, I'm actually going for Ferry) in 2 weeks, and will bolt out the dancefloor the second this starts, and I know he will play it :( |

....it amazes me how you guys know the tune, the words, the breakdowns, everything about this song you hate so much....
...and yes, I'm realizing I'm in the wrong place so goodbye all...
I will go, and listen to that masterful, melodic, esoteric, admirable, alluring, angelic, appealing, beauteous, bewitching, charming, classy, comely, cute, dazzling, delicate, delightful, divine, elegant, enticing, excellent, exquisite, fascinating, fine, foxy, gorgeous, graceful, grand, ideal, lovely, magnificent, marvelous, nice, pleasing, pretty, pulchritudinous, radiant, ravishing, refined, resplendent, shapely, sightly, splendid, statuesque, stunning, sublime, superb, and unequivocally a wonderful piece of art named:
" A N T H E M "[/B]
PS.. sorry if you don't understand some of the words.... |
If you seriously think this is a great piece of music, you need to get your ears checked.
Liking something is one thing, but actually thinking something as mediocre and hackneyed as Anthem is a brilliant example of dance music makes your opinions and tastes a bit of a joke.
Just out of curiosity, what would be your all time top 10? |

That's pretty obvious though. You don't have to be armin or PVD to know that the most shallow and cheesy track will appeal to the largest crowd. It's been proven time and time again for the last 10-15 years. Hence why DJ sammy is so popular, and hence why this song will probably be too. |

Yeah really, it isn't exactly rocket science. |
