well...due to the fact i had to go through oral surgery and i had to get rest the past week or so, my sister decided to tell me i should watch "grey's anatomy" so i won't be bored and because i would like it/maybe get addicted to it and understand a lot of the medical terms used in the show.

she gave me season 1 and season 2 to watch on dvd. right now i'm on the second episode of season 2. i don't know what to think of this show...it's not a horrible show, neither is it the best show i have ever seen. maybe it's the overhype and friends who talk about the show in general that made me expect more or maybe i just need to keep on watching (i will watch the rest of the season and come to a conclusion).

in general i don't watch shows like ER, CSI, Ugly Betty, etc. if i do watch those type of srious shows, they are on hbo or showtime.

a lot of the things that go on in the plot annoy me and are predictable. dear god, i hate the plunky music that is often used as a soundtrack in this! but like i said, i'm just not sure about this show... it almost reminds me of the grey's anatomy parody:

anyone love or hate this show?

izzy is the hottest one on that show

i was mildly interested when the commercial popped up showing showing somoene had an explosive lodged inside their body.
but i never got around to watching it, and i hear the production is :( because of the relationship of the actors. (and actresses)

yeah izzy is the prettiest but my fave characters so far are christina and george. christina reminds me a little of myself and george is funny. the two don't annoy me at all.

I LOVE it!!!

Season 2 was by far the best. Really sad at times too.

My moms addicted to this show, I just never got into it at all. Rather boring and stupid.

Grey's Anatomy sucks. Scrubs is way better and far more dramatic.

It's all about House MD and Boston Legal on Tuesday nights. Try to go for shows that are a nice blend of wit and seriousness. You might find them more interesting.

Personally I found Grey's Anatomy to be a dull bore. I tried to watch it, but what's the point if the drama isn't intense or if the characters dont crack a joke from time to time. House makes good drama as well, he really brings out the intensity and urgency associated with saving a life...

24, another show, is the grandmaster of drama, albeit unrealistic, but the characters have an intensity, an urgency about them, as if solving the problem REALLY MATTERS. Lives are on the line, good drama is about ACTING as if lives are really on the line. House and 24 pull it off, Grey's Anatomy doesn't.

Scrubs is funny on occasion, but a little too cheesy for my taste.
The characters act too dorky for me, and those cartoonish sound effects, eww.

Dont get me wrong, I grew up on this type of dorky humor with shows like Gilligan's Island.
