uhh....you dont drink beer very much do you lol. Busch Lite is AKA "Water". It has NO taste and goes down smooth. You can drink 12 of them and not really feel anything.
Its a social beer for drinking and staying up all night without getting trashed.
You have to realize that there is not only the form of the beer (The material processes - Production, clarity, quality, taste/flavor, purity, and variation between batches) but the function of the beer. Is it for having 1 beer with a pipe on a snowing winter evening wrapped up in a jacket on the porch or hanging out at a beach for 12 hours and partying into the night with a bonfire.
beers fall into niches. even TY beers like Old English (malt liquor) have the function of Edward 40 hands, ghetto night, brass monkey, and camping.
Without a qualification any objective statement of beer quality has to be taken as subjective and more of a lack of your experience than any true scale of beerness.
ratebeer.com is an objective scale of beer form. Youll find a lot of beers that you LOVE fall in the lowest 10%. Think about that. |

PBR is a great cheap American beer (great, meaning decent, but fun to laugh at while you're drinking). Samuel Adams isn't bad either.
anything Bud/Busch/Coors etc. It all tastes awful...and weak, watered-down awful at that.
I'm in beer heaven now since I can buy a 24 of Grolsch or Heineken for 8 euro. Plus, the really nice Belgian beers like Leffe are cheap as well.

what makes pbr so great? i always hear poeple saying "its a good cheap beer.." no its not, it taste like .
and win win with leffe... or delirius.. soo goooood |

| If you are going to drink cheap beer you are much better going with 40s of malt liquor instead of cheap pisswater like Natural Light or Bush Light. You will at least get ed up off the malt liquor. |

PBR isn't really good. It's a tolerable alternative to Bud/Busch/Coors etc and you can also laugh at is as you drink it. Kind of like Schlitz Blue Bull or OE 800, but with better beer. If you're faced with the choice of any of this , it's no longer about the beer, it's about entertainment.
Fosters king cans are cheap-ish in the US from what I can remember, and that's tolerable beer too. |

Rolling Rocks is the only cheapish beer I like in the US
and it's not even what most would call cheap
and Abita ...
