I am just now starting to step out of the bedroom and into th club and was wondering if there are any mixers that don't have a split ear cue. I have never used booth monitors before, and I just want to know so i can have a heads up. thanks.

Loads of mixers don't have split cue... to make sure you're prepared it's probably best to learn with the track you're cueing in one ear and the 'live' track via a booth monitor in the other

learn to cue using any methods you'll encounter, use the one that's comfortable for you until you're not able to, then switch if need be

yep cueing without split cue is important, and knowledge of cueing using all method is important cause some pub has really bad dj booth and its impossible to mix without split cue.
