down here for my third conference and went to my first opening pool party and in loved it. got there around 4ish with about a 1/2 hour of oakenfolds set left. spun some pretty good tracks but wasnt a fan of the dj booth since u couldnt even see his head. after oakie was christopher lawrence and again he did not disappoint. just in ripped it with hard ass techno for his entire set. next was serge devant and its apparent why he was a sideroom headliner at trance energy. again just hard hard beats his entire set working the crowd and flawless mixing. all rise for the judge...hadnt seen him in about 2 years and what a treat it was. just phenomenal track selection and toying with the crowd while he was spinning. closing the nite was johan gielen!! i must say out of the 4-5 times ive seen him this was the only time he was somewhat disapointing. his first 1/2 hour he played a real housey set and not what we would expect out of him. but the second 1/2 the real johan showed up and dropped some of the hardest trance ive heard in a while. overall, a great event except for in scumbags trying to start with u cause they want ur gf. lookin forward to the rest of the conference

I have to add something. Very suprised by Oakenfold, hes been sucking recently but yesterday he reminded me on the good old times. He dropped several awesome songs. CL was standardly awesome, he has been constantly climbing up the last several years. This is my first time seing Serge, Judge and Johan live. Serge proved why he's Tiesto's favourite boy. Judge was ok, played standard Ibiza hits. Johan was disspointing at the beginning. However, at the end he dropped several anthems like Synaethisia. I randomly saw him on the street after the party, and he said that he didnt like it that he played at the end of the party when it was almost empty.

I also went to the wetgrooves sexy f**k party. THe music was ok. When I came there Fredde Le Grand was finishing and Benni Bennasy take over. I think the music was not really appropriate for clubbing, but still, that standard Benni. I saw Flio & Peri, but I am really sorry that I didnt stay till the end to hear Anthem (I guess it will be played a lot the next several days). I have some interesting pics of Serge, chilling around with a girl on his lap :)

Anyways, here are some pics:
