I'm currently 70% in. Gotta see how I'll feel after AVB in dallas.

Rich's is such a nice venue, so much better lighting and sound than Meridian and M-Bar. Clarks & Deans is the only place in town that I like as much, but for different reasons. Always nice to catch a show there.

And does that flyer mean that Ferry is actually broadcasting live from Rich's, or is it just advertizing a more general "Ferry broadcasts on the radio" thing?

Lastly (and unrelated), does it make anyone else chuckle how they make such a big deal on flyers and advertisements of the DJ wearing headphones, especially for big name trance DJ's? I mean, yes, everyone knows DJ's use headphones, but how is headphone use suddenly such an amazingly defining aspect of being a DJ that 90% of publicity photos involve them? I don't even have them on my head a good half of the time, unless I'm being lazy and don't want to find a place to set them down that's not the top of the mixer. So it makes me laugh at a flyer like this, with the DJ looking totally zoned out into his headphones (when presumably he has a 50,000W club sound system playing his music in front of him). Oh well.

this specific performance will be aired live on both XM and worldspace.

its going to be a quite an event and i wouldn't doubt a few surprises ;) head on out there - what better excuse can you have for going out on a wednesday?!?!

man not sure now if i can go. just recapped on my syllabus(s) and i have the 2nd midterm for my western civilization class thursday morning, not to mention a MAJOR (30% of my grade) essay due as soon as I walked into that class. I'll see what I can do to make it though. I'm already pushing it with the AVB gig, though missing that is like not having Packer's mom anymore during happy hour.

Packer, I love you.

What day are you leaving for dallas? I think we're leaving saturday morning and then hanging around there for a bit.
