| good for her for winning an admission but too bad she had to write so many lies about what happened. I bet they didn't think there would be some other people who attended the venue. And no personal attacs, but as i said before, some people just didn't fit in to this crowd. |

Yea I had a bad experience, but a certain "SITUATION" occurred with someone there, that I would much rather not divulge with everyone on this forum. We're it not for that one situation, I would've actually had a good nite.
Yea the boyfriend came off and made a review about how pissed he was and how mucht this event sucked for the both of us. But isn't he entitled to it? I think so!
So now get over it!!! |

Well. Accept my personal apology for whatever happened (though from your BF post i can't really read who and what did wrong to you) but make sure to kick this guy ass next time you see him in a club. Sorry it sucked for you, but next time stick with us and you gonna have tons of fun. |

I am done with posting reviews but after reading such a lie, i need to say something. Event was supposed to be held outside but indeed, due to weather it was moved inside. You complained that you showed up at 6. 45 and music started at 8, so what? Do you know the capacity of the inside and outside venues? Would you be rather come earlier and see something or arrive later and didn't have a chance to get in just because the capacity wouldn't allow any more people in the lobby. Have you seen hundreds people waiting outside to get in?
We all showed up earlier and went to Setai restaurant? Why didn't you do that? They serve by far one of the best food in SoBe!
The "old ing dude" who played an openning for Tijs was great. That's why people danced. He started at 8.10 pm and not at 8.45 pm. You have to provide at least a few videos or a track list to make people believe that he sucked because he didn't. You, with your little angry comments, showed just how much tastless a person can be.
Tijs started shortly after 10 and played till 1 am. Yes, there were a lot of cameras and media people but why do you need to stay right in front if you could hear everything from the back? Why does everybody need to stand by the f..ing dj's face? We moved back and enjoyed the music. That's all about music.
It was a great night and all the people who came with me had fun, all but you and your GF, maybe it's a sign that you need to think that MAYBE something is wrong with you, not with the rest of the world.

now blondie, lemme go on and actually point out errors in your way of thinking (sorry im an engineer, and you probably shop for a living so its too easy not to do it). you said you replied because of "lies." what did i lie about? i said we got there at 6:45 and i complianed that anyone could of gotten in. for a "private tiesto" show not just anyone should be able to get in. that was my complaint. the event was supposed to start at 7, i understand they had problems moving everything inside at the last minute, but the way they kept everyone so uninformed is what bothered me. not everyone that shows up to what is supposed to be an event thinks "oh lets go eat here." eating was the last of my concern, i was wondering where the tijs was. if you want to go eat and maybe miss meeting him or seeing him come on, well then, that just shows you dont even care about the man, the music, or the event.
quite a few people on here know me personally, so they know what kind of music i like and dont like, so when i said that "old ing guy" sucked, they know im right that he sucked. if it was good but i personally didnt like it, i would of said "not my style." but who would expect the little newbie to know that? that old ing guy, DID SUCK ASS! just like i said, he had no style of his own, just played OTHER house djs make-the-crowd-go-crazy tracks. a warmup dj isnt supposed to play like that. he SUCKED. if you liked him, that goes to show your taste in music sucks too. and you're saying i should provide videos or a tracklist, listen closely blondie, if it sucked, why would i even bother to remember that ? you liked it and you cant even provide a name for that guy. what the does that say???? if i like an opening dj but i dont know who he is, i'll ing find out! god damn, your blondness is really getting to me now. honestly, i know what kind of person you are... you are like the girl in college (which you probably never finished) who always got really really drunk, slept with a ton of guys, probably got pregnant a few times, and then one day somehow someway you stumbled across a rich boy and you dont care that he has a 2 inch dick, all you care about is the money in his wallet. well listen bitch, i know for a fact i have more fun in my life with less money than you do with lots of money. and because of that my girlfriend and i are better people. so enjoy being unhappy later on in life when you realize your money isnt everything, cuz me, ive already found that happiness and it lies within my girlfriend. |

Whatever happened to this poor girl must have not been good. I'm curious to know, but I guess we should respect her wishes. I can also understand about the boyfriend being upset about it, more so than she seems. I can also get protective of my wife.
It's too bad becasue this type of event should be a fun easy going atmosphere. We should all be happy that we were invited. It's not a question of who is rich or poor or who has the "biggest hard on" or gets the "wettest" for tiesto - to be vulgar about it. Just becasue one is rich or poor does not make one a bad person. I also have never believed that just becasue you are a new fan, it doesn't make you any less of a fan. Of course it's nice to see someone who has been a dedicated fan for years, but does it really mattter, if the point is to have a good time. As I'm sure some of you know, the Setai is one of the top hotels in Miami. I'm not rich, but I put on a nice collared shirt that night - the only time I did all week.
As for Miss requiemofnanqel, she seems like a decent girl. So much in fact that's why she won her chance to attend. The funny thing is that the "old guy" was probably at least partly responsible for her winning. The old guy, DjLeblanc, really isn't that old. He just has greyer/whiter hair and and a big beer gut. So what if he really was old ? Our Dad's are old, Sasha's Dad is old. Djleblanc played good tracks and he wasn't there to rock the house or steal anyone's thunder. Go download his monthly mixes on his website. They are really good IMO.
Oh, crap, I lost my train of thought (please no train wreck jokes here), so I'll just say that, Pat, you are wrong about most of the assumptions you are making, most of which I don't think I need to correct in a public forum, but I can certainly understand you're coming to the defense of your woman. I've read or noticed some of your other posts in different topics and it's all good. It's too bad, becasue this was just meant to a nice chill fun event for all of us. For us it was good chance to see old friends, catch up with some of the industry folks, and meet new ones, while listening to Tiesto's new tracks in a nice setting at the Setai. It really would have been better if the event had been held outside where there was so much more space and they they could have set up much more production, but they can't control the weather. They were so stressed about this, becasue they do care.
Oh, a couple of more things. I don't think that Miss Sveta, should be saying that a girl should not have been there. That's not right ansd she she knows better. I'm sure her apology is sincere.
But Sveta is not a tiesto whore nor anybody elses either.
So my wife made fun of "the King" thing directly to Tiesto. They joked about it and he was laughing at himself as well. Oh, I loved the way he played after hours - maybe I'll write about it in the other thread. |

you bring up good points and did it in the right way. that i can respect. i simply didnt have fun at the event, for more reasons than what happened. i was voicing my discontent and then some girl wants to put in her two cents in a disrespectful way. nope, sorry, thats where i become the . sorry to anyone who was annoyed by this, but im not like the guy above me who can be all diplomatic about it. |

if you knew me at least a little bit before you yourself started judging, youd realize my reviews ALWAYS have to be looked at with a grain of salt.
