Today at the nursing home I was shadowing the charge nurse, which meant that I got to spend time on different wards, with patients I've never worked with before.
Anyway, it was just after breakfast and the residents were being wheeled out of the dining room. As one of the clients passed by me she said (no word of a lie here), "Weeeee! Coming out of the dining room INYAFACE!"
She looked right at me when she said it too, lol. Oh man, I wish you cold have been there! |

Bahahahaha! I know!! So bizarre...cause the woman is like 80 some odd years old...and she didn't say "in your face", she said "inyaface"...which is weird lingo for a woman that old to use.
But then again, she has dementia. |

It really was...and at first I was thinking "wtf??" But then I took into account I was on the dementia ward, and people with dementia say a lot of weird .
It's sad to see people like that, but it's goddamn hilarious when they start calling people on (to fight), and swearing like they have Tourette's. |
