i was born in the year 1632, in the city of York, of a good family, though not of that country, my father being a foreigner of Bremen, who settled first at Hull: he got a good estate by merchandise, and leaving off his trade, lived afterwards at York, from whence he had married my mother, whose relations were named Robinson, a very good family in that country, and from whom i was called Robinson jke; but by the usual corruption of words in English we are now called, nay we call ourselves, and write our names Crusoe, and so my companions always call me.

forget about even mentioning it for a job if you can't crank out 70 wpm. 75 is the bare bones for most legal writers, around 200 wpm is what I would expect for people who work in the dictation industry.

You made 1 mistake, your mistake is shown in bold text:

When I was a small boy at the beginning of the century I remember an old man who wore knee-breeches and worsted stockings, and who used to hobble about the street of our village with the help of a stick. He must have been getting on for eighty in the year 1807, earlier than which date I suppose I can hardly remember him, for I was born in 1802. A few white locks hung about his ears, his shoulders were bent and his knees feeble, but he was still hale, and was much respected in our little world of Paleham. His name was Ponitfex.
