First time ever mixing on my laptop using nothing but a software, thanks to Steve for the advice (after a little confusion using some other crap). Nothing big here, just a compilation of some of my favorite tracks at the moment. I experienced a few jumpy starts and double beats. Trasitions from the first to the second track and the last two tracks were pretty tricky, so I didn't really put much attention to those after a few redos. Overall I thought it was pretty decent the way it turned out.

Hey I'm gonna rate this. I'm gonna have a road trip 2moro to garner state park and ill give this an in depth listen.
Ill judge this by :
In key mixing (face its trance they have a bunch of tones and one thing I en hate is jammin 2 one song that's all kool and summery and melodic then all of a sudden hearing some pumpin dark stuff... I hate that.)

what is a bang bus? is it like the thing we rented last year where we had ALL txta milfs onboard and......well.....banged em'?
how much is it to rent a bus? i dont wanna spend too much money either. i'd rather pitch in for gas than pay a bus if its too much :disbelief |

Just curious here. What is phasing? I've heard phrasing before and people erroneously refer to phrasing as phasing but I've never seen someone have them listed as two distinct entities. I would seriously like you to explain this to me because I like to learn and I'm curious. Thanks in advance. Are you talking about keeping the kicks from going anti-phase, which is essentially a beatmatching problem, or are you talking about something totally foreign.

Okay
According to one of the night arkitechts that helped me polish up my djing.
We called
Phasing : when u follow the music count(8 10 12 14 or 16 seconds) to bring in a song so it phases together as the first song is ending and the new song is coming in.
And what we called phrasing was just badsic eq`ing but it still kept the respect of phasing because when a change in certain musical paterns would come in we would bring in a certain part of the mid or highs in. Like if there was a strike of a high hat on the song that's ending then the dj would bring the rest of the highs in to a 150 degree angle. Then as the song continues and the 1st song takes out elements as its ending then u bring in the rest of the highs and mids and once the bass tone kicks in that's when u switch up the lows.
That's how my djing came about. Though our terminologies may differ its essentially the same thing.
Unless u conts read some ' djing for dummies ' book wit all this proper terminology which I really wouldn't care to hear it because our djing all diffr.
And jake. U didn't phrase ( my word if u call it something else) so great on ur december mix. Not an insult but its something I noticed. U had 2 lows goin on @ the same time when u were mixin. Maybe it was ur mixer. |

Lets get a fuel efficient clown car. The toyota corolla is very efficient @ 38 mpg we can make it 2 dallas in less than a tank.
I made it to austin and back to houston in one tank wit a corolla. |
